Lending a Hand:
I am a charismatic connector, catalyst, and strategic thinker with over 20 years of experience in building large coalitions to overcome complex challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve navigated community and stakeholder engagements, policy development, customer success management, strategic planning, and more.
My passion lies in exploring the forefront of manufacturing technologies, from artificial intelligence, 5G, and digital twins. I believe Illinois is uniquely positioned to lead the next industrial revolution in America through leveraging these technologies. I’m excited to contribute to this journey with the IMEC team.
My Background:
Having served sixteen years in the Air Force as an Arabic linguist and Intelligence Analyst, and a combat deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom III/IV, I bring expertise in advanced methods for intelligence gathering and data analysis. My post-military career includes impactful roles at the Digital Manufacturing Institute and the University of Chicago, where I led relationship management for government initiatives, played a key role in DoD-focused research, and developed what is now considered the best undergraduate veteran program in the country.
I hold an MBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a BA in Public Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an AA in Arabic from the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center, and an AAS in Intelligence Analysis from the Community College of the Air Force.
