On April 1, 2024, OSHA published its Final Worker Walkaround Representative Designation Process Rule (the “Worker Walkaround Rule”). The new Final Rule has the potential to profoundly affect the ability of manufacturers to prevent third parties from entering their facilities as part of OSHA inspection, opening the door to a host of unforeseen consequences. This new rule goes into effect on May 31, 2024, so now is the time to get ready for this brave new world.
Join us to learn tips and strategies to prepare for and manage these inspections.
We will be covering:
  • How the new Rule may impact manufacturers, including the various types of third parties who could potentially enter your facilities as part of an OSHA inspection.
  • Steps that you should take now before OSHA arrives.
  • What to do from the moment OSHA knocks at your door until they leave your facility.
  • Tips to strategically minimize your company’s legal risk after OSHA leaves, including when producing documents and making employees and managers available for interviews.
