    Ed Huey

    Technical Specialist

    Ed Huey is an operations and lean implementation specialist at IMEC with more than 11 years of manufacturing and management experience across multiple industries. He partners with Illinois manufacturers to strengthen safety programs, improve operational performance, and build sustainable lean systems that enhance productivity and competitiveness.

    A former Plant Manager for a metal roll forming company, Ed has led teams within lean manufacturing environments in the auto parts and accessories industry. His hands-on leadership experience allows him to guide organizations through practical implementation—aligning safety, leadership development, and operational discipline to drive long-term results.

    At IMEC, Ed works as part of high-performance service delivery teams, leveraging state and national resources to help manufacturers implement structured improvement initiatives that stick.
