    Vice President of Operations

    Mary Hallock is the Vice President of Operations at IMEC, where she leads statewide client engagement and service delivery efforts that help Illinois manufacturers grow, compete, and create jobs. In her role, Mary supports both the client engagement team and the specialists delivering services across Illinois, ensuring manufacturers are connected with the right internal and external experts to drive meaningful, measurable change.

    Throughout her tenure at IMEC, Mary has played a key role in strengthening Northern Illinois manufacturing by supporting projects that have created and retained hundreds of jobs and delivered strong financial results. She works closely with regional managers and technical teams to identify the type of support manufacturers need—whether strategic, operational, or workforce-focused—and helps align resources to accelerate impact and long-term competitiveness.

    Mary brings a strong combination of engineering, business, and leadership expertise to her work. Her background in executive coaching, facilitation, and Training Within Industry (TWI) allows her to guide leaders and frontline teams through change with clarity, discipline, and accountability. Her approach is grounded in collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and a deep commitment to strengthening Illinois’ manufacturing ecosystem.
