Presenter

Lauren (Rinne) Van De Mark

Sales and Marketing Manager, Flex-Line Automation

Lauren Van De Mark, Sales and Marketing Manager, Flex-Line Automation Inc. grew up on a farm in Southern Illinois as the child of entrepreneurs. As she pursued her undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, she realized that her background had given her a stronger work ethic, and more adaptable skills than many peers. Lauren earned her Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University.

She is a highly motivated individual with a strong drive to solve problems and contribute in whatever way she can, which has led to her becoming knowledgeable and passionate about a wide variety of topics ranging from the adhesive qualities of different types of tape, to robot safety.

Because of her background she has also developed a very strong sense of customer service and enjoys treating every customer like they are her only customer when they have a need.
In addition to being a woman business owner in manufacturing and automation, Lauren also works and lives on a cattle farm with her husband and animal menagerie. She is also active in several manufacturing and automation groups and enjoys promoting manufacturing and the southern Illinois region whenever possible; including working to feature Flex-Line on "World's Greatest" tv and "The Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid" in 2024.
