That sentiment captures what so many manufacturers have experienced through the Kane County Manufacturing Grant Program. This initiative has supported 52 manufacturers in driving operational improvements, strengthening their workforce, and building lasting resilience.
At this celebration, manufacturers, community partners, and local leaders will come together to:
- Share success stories firsthand
- Highlight how the grant helped close critical gaps and scale best practices
- Recognize the powerful results of collaboration
The impact speaks for itself:
- 556 jobs retained
- 326 jobs projected to be created
- 100% of participating companies reported meaningful process improvements
- Every manufacturer adopted new workforce development practices
- Many gained access to resources that would have otherwise been cost-prohibitive
- Over 300 workers were impacted through training and placement opportunities
The event will also include networking, panel discussions, and opportunities to connect with the people behind these successes.
