This interactive workshop introduces food industry manufacturers to the Registered Apprenticeship model and provides a practical roadmap for launching or expanding a program. You’ll learn how apprenticeships are structured, how competencies and standards are defined, and how to partner with IMEC to meet Department of Labor (DOL) requirements.

Come prepared to take action. Participants can begin the apprenticeship registration process on-site and leave with a clear path forward.

    Why Attend:

Apprenticeships are a proven solution for addressing workforce shortages, strengthening retention, and building highly skilled teams. For food manufacturers facing ongoing talent challenges, a registered program creates a sustainable pipeline of trained employees while supporting career growth and long-term business success.

    What You’ll Gain:

    Participants will leave with:

    • A clear understanding of how apprenticeships attract, train, and retain skilled talent
    • Insight into employer ROI, including productivity gains and reduced hiring costs
    • Information on available tax credits, tuition support, and grant funding opportunities
    • A step-by-step framework for launching or registering a program
    • Confidence that training aligns with DOL standards
    • A defined action plan to build a sustainable talent pipeline

    Ideal For:

Food manufacturing leaders responsible for workforce, operations, training, or talent development who want a structured, scalable approach to workforce growth.
