Jan Pingel is the Product Leader, Digital Solutions at Ingersoll Rand, a global manufacturer of industrial equipment for air, fluid, energy, and medical technologies. Prior to this, Jan was Product Director, Process History and Analytics at Honeywell Process Solutions, and prior to this position, Jan was the Product Leader, Information Software, Manufacturing Intelligence, and Historian Software at Rockwell Automation. Jan is responsible for connectivity to the entire portfolio of compressed air equipment by delivering digitally enabled solutions and services for customers. Product strategy, innovation, design, IoT, Edge to Cloud, and Machine Learning/Digital Twin are a combination of passion and job responsibility.

Jan Pingel has a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Technical University of Denmark. Outside his role at Ingersoll Rand, Jan is also a co-Founder of Industry 4.0 Club, a peer-lead organization of manufacturing leaders and professionals, dedicated to engaging the power of diverse worldwide talent to accelerate the global evolution to Industry 4.0.
