Responsibilities:
In my role as Director of Strategic Investment & Market Deployment at IMEC, I lead the Elevate Engine, focusing on converting public investment into measurable economic outcomes for Illinois manufacturers. I oversee grant execution, identify emerging market opportunities, and work to rapidly deploy solutions that align with the evolving needs of industry.
My work centers on bridging the gap between innovation and implementation. I collaborate with stakeholders across government, industry, and research institutions to develop solution models that accelerate adoption and drive meaningful impact for manufacturers.
I bring experience managing the full lifecycle of complex, grant-funded initiatives, ensuring projects move efficiently from concept through execution while maintaining alignment with strategic priorities and market demand.
Prior to joining IMEC, I worked at GTI Energy, where I supported the advancement of energy and industrial technologies from research to deployment. My role focused on engineering design, process modeling, catalyst evaluation, and techno-economic analysis, alongside contributions to business development and proposal strategy. I supported major federal, state, and private-sector programs, including initiatives with the U.S. Department of Energy, ARPA-E, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the California Public Utilities Commission. I led multimillion-dollar projects and worked cross-functionally to advance technologies from early-stage research to deployment.
My background includes leading cross-functional teams, conducting techno-economic analysis to evaluate commercial viability, and supporting the advancement of technologies from pilot to full-scale implementation.
