David Vásquez is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience in public and private cellular networks, cloud and edge-compute architectures, cyber-security & IoT sensor networks. As Xemelgo’s VP of Global Alliances, David leads strategic partnerships with systems integrators and technology providers to deliver value to customers through RFID and other IoT technologies. David is an avid runner, skier, and cyclist who enjoys traveling and the outdoors. He is fluent in Spanish and English, married with two children, and the family splits their time between Portland, OR, France, and The Dominican Republic.
Garrett Gross
Product Manager, Xemelgo
Garrett Gross is a product manager at Xemelgo, a software company specializing in real-time visibility solutions for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Retail industries. Previously, Garrett worked for Collins Aerospace as a supervisor in Advanced Manufacturing where he led various lean automation, equipment, and industry 4.0 projects across multiple facilities. Through UTC’s Operations Leadership Program, Garrett gained experience as a shop floor supervisor, quality engineer, and supply chain specialist. He has a diverse manufacturing background, from machine operator to operations leader, and having worked on projects ranging from iPhones to helicopters.
Garrett holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he conducted research on micromachining and additive manufacturing. Complementing his technical background, Garrett also obtained an MBA from the University of Washington, specializing in entrepreneurship. Passionate about driving pragmatic innovation, Garrett is dedicated to helping manufacturers succeed at Xemelgo.
