June is National Safety Month and the National Safety Council provides resources with themes every year for employers to educate and celebrate their team. There is a sign up available to access additional media to support your efforts. 2025 kicks off with a focus on continuous improvement. If you know us here at IMEC, we celebrate continuous improvement every day. We were pretty excited to see this focus.
Take a moment to plan some communications and training this Safety Month. Our team started 2025 with a small committee of safety and workforce trainers and identified places to improve IMEC written policies and plan training. For Safety Month we deployed learning on Ergonomics in the Office as well as common hazards in Industrial environments. We do not want to just improve IMEC, we are here to help you improve your organization too. We have been sharing safety and wellness resources in our weekly staff meeting. Find what works for your team. Just find a way and build a plan to be better tomorrow than you are today. Host a tool box talk. Add tips to meetings and newsletters. Practice a drill and check supplies in your first aid kit. Find a formal education or professional networking opportunity to learn from peers and industry experts.
