In the world of manufacturing, it can be difficult to find qualified candidates who you can trust and who fit your company’s culture. On top of trying to find qualified candidates, we now must add another layer of complexity to understand that different generations are applying for various positions. In order to attract and retain diverse age groups, one must be able to adapt to the different expectations, preferences, and motivations they may have and expect out of employers.

Ashley Beaudoin

Director of Client Solutions, IMEC

Based in Chicago, Ashley focuses on the people aspect of the people, process, product model and bring my diverse experience as an associate human resources consultant to IMEC. She is responsible for aiding Illinois manufacturers in all of their human resource needs to deliver customized HR solutions. Ashley provides human capital management advisory services and help companies develop and communicate policies, train employees and implement a recruitment process. Ashley also provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of HR management policies, procedures, programs and applications of laws and regulations.

One of the most enjoyable aspects for Ashley is helping with the people aspect. She is able to assist in their onboarding process, to implementing a feedback vehicle to improve employee moral and satisfaction in both formal and informal manners.
