Meg O’Hara

Director of Engagement, Govmates

Meg began her career in the education field where she dedicated almost a decade to opening students’ minds to new possibilities. During her education career she completed her Master’s Degree in the Integration of Technology in Schools as well as learning conversational American Sign Language.

After having her second of three children, Meg started a digital marketing business supporting small and growing companies in defining and promoting their company brand and developing outreach and marketing to increase lead generation. She joined the BOOST LLC team working within the government contracting industry in 2016. Meg became the Director of Marketing for BOOST in 2019 where she helped to develop company-wide brand guidelines and messaging for the BOOST team and government contracting clients.  

After 5 years of supporting govmates marketing, Meg joined the govmates team full-time in 2021 as the Director of Engagement. She focuses on marketing and partnerships for the govmates nation, supporting matchmaking events, developing and promoting networking opportunities, hosting and producing the govmates podcast Next Gen, and educating the industry on SBIR, STTR, and OT opportunities.
