Lending a Hand:
My mission is to establish and maintain relationships and assess challenges and opportunities for local manufacturers in and around the Quad Cities area. I look to identify and insure delivery of value added services within IMEC’s array of consulting and training solutions.
Throughout my professional career, I have found that a well honed ability to evaluate and solve problems is an essential skill in all areas of leadership. I pride myself on generating value by developing the right solutions to problems at hand and preventing foreseeable risks from impacting the future.
My ability to empathize with varied roles within an organization provides the perspective needed to envision and implement effective change.
I firmly believe that you build relationships with people which foster trust. Only from there can you move forward into successful partnerships.
I have more than 25 years of experience with a wide range of managerial and manufacturing expertise including Lean deployment and development, structured problem solving, facilitating EFQM excellence model assessments, strategic business planning and budgeting, sales growth and market development, customer satisfaction, project management, product design and application engineering and product safety. I have also been involved in integrating two acquired companies and product lines.
I have served as Director of Operations, Vice President of Manufacturing, Vice President of Sales, Vice President Customer Service and Director of Product and Application Engineering as a component supplier within the Off Highway Equipment market.
I earned a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and gained Lean Manufacturing skills through GKN’s Site Continuous Improvement Leader (SCIL) training program.
