    Read: Reducing Workplace Risks: A Strategic Approach to Safety

     

    Is your safety and health program able to pass the test? Participants will be asked ten safety related questions to help evaluate their OSHA compliance efforts. Brian will also discuss OSHA’s recordkeeping requirements, the hazard communication standard update and timeline for compliance, plain view hazards and citations issued recently under OSHA’s general duty clause.

    Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, OSHA

    Brian Bothast, a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist with OSHA in Peoria, IL. He has worked for Caterpillar in the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department and as an Industrial Hygienist with OSHA. Brian is a 1988 graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Environmental Health.
