Vacation Time Use

If I am working from home or taking time off due to corona, is it required to take PTO?

Thanks to a firm specializing in labor law (Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C.), we acquired this response:

The Families First Act does not go into effect until April 2, 2020.  Until then, employers are not required to provide those benefits.  Before April 2, 2020, it requires employees to exhaust available paid leave (i.e. vacation, PTO, sick leave).  Come April 2, 2020, the employee becomes eligible for benefits under the Act, and we must provide those benefits if they are eligible.
