Beginning your Journey to Performance Excellence – Overview of Performance Excellence

The unique Beginning your Journey to Performance Excellence Series for Non-Profits is dedicated to non-profits in the Quad Cities committed to using enterprise excellence principles and tools such as lean continuous improvement and a world-class framework for performance excellence. By participating in the program, organization leaders will learn and implement actionable steps for improvement. Participants will also complete an Interest in Excellence application through the IMEC Recognition Program, ultimately addressing the question “What is important to our organization?”

PROGRAM OFFERING
This program will be accomplished through a structured training and coaching process to guide each organization through the beginning steps of the journey to performance excellence. For non-profit organizations in the Quad Cities, the cost to participate* is $0, which will cover the training of up to 4 individuals per organization. The program will be held in August and September 2019.

August 23: Overview of Performance Excellence  |  6 Hours  |  Quad Cities Chamber

  • Led by an expert in enterprise excellence
  • Provides clarity of “who you are” as an organization
  • Includes Pre-Application worksheet overview

August 30: Overview of Lean Principles |  3 Hours  |  Quad Cities Chamber

  • Participants will learn how to use systematic methods for identifying and eliminating waste in alignment with their mission to better serve the community.

Facilitation of the Interest in Excellence Application  |  4 Hours  |  On-site at Participant Facility

  • Interviews and discussion to generate consensus
  • Guidance on next steps using the Profile Action Plan Builder
