Who are you as an organization?

Beyond your people, products and customers, the Organizational Excellence Lunch & Learn helps leaders get a 360-degree view of their organization.  You can’t get better if you don’t know where you are now.

Whether your organization is new, growing, or has existed for many years, you face daily and long-term challenges.  How does your strategic plan allow your company to respond to an ever-changing competitive landscape?

By attending the Organizational Excellence Lunch & Learn, you will gain intimate knowledge of your current organizational state and identify the questions to let you learn more.  Attendees will learn how the IMEC Interest in Excellence application is a strategic resource for companies along their continuous improvement activities.

Journey of Organizational Self-Discovery: What can you learn from yourself, about yourself? An Interest in Excellence application provides clarity of “who you are” as an organization, as you take a step back to answer logically sequenced questions that collectively provide an overview of what your organization does, values, worries about, and focuses on across company strategy.

Workforce Engagement: Working with team members across your organization to complete the application will help you determine the cohesiveness of your organization’s management team members as you identify any gaps in information, focus, and/or conflicting viewpoints.  This can be just one step to helping you grow into a employer of choice based on your commitment to continuous improvement and engagement with employees

Benchmarking: Using a validated, leading edge model based on 30 years of use, benchmark against high-performing organizations.  This comparative data can identify and help you understand gaps in your performance and highlight targets to work towards.

Organization-Wide Commitment: Ensure that your employees understand and can contribute to the drivers of your organization’s success.  The Interest in Excellence application is an effective starting point to improve the quality of your products and service, enhance customer loyalty, increase workforce engagement, and provide a platform to accelerate change, growth, and improvement throughout your entire organization.

Connection to ISO 9001 Standards: Companies registered to the ISO 9001:2015 standard are required to show proof of continuous improvement activities, which an Interest in Excellence application supports.  For new or renewal ISO 9001 registrations, this application aligns with the Context of the Organization requirement, outlining the internal and external issues that can impact strategic objectives and QMS planning.

Community Image:  Companies who pursue Organizational Excellence can improve their company image in the local community, and in addition to becoming a preferred employer in your community, will be able to attract top tier talent.  Excellent employees will be naturally drawn to excellent companies!

Cost: $50.00.  Registration includes lunch and materials.
