Onsite Tour of Argonne Leadership Computing Facility
November 3, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
The U.S. manufacturing economy is in the early stages of a profound transition. As global temperatures continue to rise, the nation has set aggressive goals for decarbonizing its economy, culminating in net-zero emissions by 2050. To support progress toward these goals, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and other agencies are making unprecedented investments in the creation of domestic supply chains for clean energy technologies and the decarbonization of industrial processes. As the DOE’s largest national laboratory in the Midwest and a major center for science and technology innovation, Argonne National Laboratory is partnering with Illinois manufacturers as they navigate the clean energy transition.
