Lean Manufacturing 101 with Simulation – Decatur

October 29 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Meeting today’s manufacturing challenges demands a lean enterprise — streamlining product design and manufacturing by applying lean manufacturing principles, concepts and techniques. This interactive workshop combines comprehensive classroom instruction with simulation of a production facility.

The basic concepts of Lean manufacturing and the tools and methodology necessary to implement “lean” on the shop floor are demonstrated through a hands-on activity, in which participants assemble a product on a simulated factory floor, incorporating the various principles of Lean along the way. By participating in a Lean Simulation, you experience how to use half the manufacturing space and half the effort to produce products in half the time with fewer defects.

Cost: $650 per person.  Registration includes course materials and lunch.
