April 24 @ 7:30 am - 10:00 am
Worldwide energy consumption continues to increase rapidly. At the same time, efforts to decarbonize our environment are growing and sustainability is now a priority for many corporations, government agencies and consumers around the globe.
REG has spent the past two decades developing improved technology and processes in the biodiesel production process. They have approved patents, patent applications and trade secrets in the areas of transesterification, glycerolysis, esterification, feedstock pretreatment and cold filtration. These technologies enable REG to utilize a wide array of feedstock including animal fat, inedible corn oil, used cooking grease and vegetable oils to produce high-quality renewable fuel..
Join the IMIN Network onsite at REG Danville to learn how these waste products are utilized to create renewable energy. Tour this 45 million gallon per year, commercial-scale, state-of-the-art biodiesel production facility located in Danville.
