IMIN Network Event
March 20 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am
Leader Standard Work Session
A leader’s role in an organization includes:
- monitoring financial results,
- determining customer needs,
- creating a focus on action,
- developing and driving strategy,
- analyzing innovation opportunities,
- cultivating a culture of engagement,
- ensuring a safe work environment,
- and, managing the workforce to their highest potential.
How can a leader accomplish all of these things in a day?
Effective leaders utilize processes and work systems to develop standard work and daily habits. They use visualization systems and data to make decisions that create stability. Teams are encouraged to solve problems on their own and bring solutions to the table. Individuals know what expectations are of their quality and work capacity and when they have questions, whom to raise the issue with. And, everyone is focused on performance.
