Fundamentals of Continuous Improvement (Series) – Danville
April 23 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Sessions will meet: April 23 & 24 | April 30 & May 1 | May 7 & 8
8:00am – 4:30pm daily
Meeting today’s manufacturing challenges demands a lean enterprise — streamlining product design and manufacturing by applying lean manufacturing principles, concepts and techniques. The primary focus of this effort is the continuous elimination of waste in the company’s business processes. Implementing Lean practices involves changing a work area or a business process to maximize efficiency, improve quality and safety, eliminate unnecessary motion and inventory, and save time and resources. Participants also engage with real-life scenarios from the hands-on factory simulation throughout the day!
By experiencing the six course simulations in the Continuous Improvement Series, participants will have the knowledge, tools and application examples required to begin a Lean transformation.
The six courses within the series include:
Lean 101 – April 23
Lean Leadership/Change Management – April 24
Value Stream Mapping & 5S/Workplace Organization – April 30
Quick Changeover – May 1
