Ahead of our upcoming in-person session on Lean Manufacturing Principles and financial workflow automation, join us for this preview-style webinar that explores the real value of speed in manufacturing.

Too often, acceleration is seen as just moving faster — but smart manufacturers know it’s about moving with purpose. In this conversational, podcast-style webinar, specialists from IMEC and Commerce Bank will connect the dots between Lean principles and automation tools that drive financial efficiency and operational clarity. You’ll get a preview of the topics we’ll explore during the in-person event and hear how speed directly impacts value, from cash flow to capacity.

Whether you’re planning to attend the upcoming Lean Meets Finance: Streamlining Value from Shop Floor to Balance Sheet event (to be announced soon) or simply interested in the concepts, this webinar provides practical insights to help you rethink what acceleration really means in manufacturing.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understand how speed impacts manufacturing value, not just output
  • Learn how Value Stream Mapping and Payment Cycle Reviews can identify automation opportunities
  • Preview real-world tools and use cases that link finance to Lean efficiency and risk mitigation
  • Hear from both Lean and digital professionals in a conversational format
  • Importance of automation in your back office to improve working capital positioning

This session is your primer to an in-depth event focused on real tools, real strategies and real results.

Presenter

Jeremy Smith

Technical Specialist | IMEC

With more than 10 years of manufacturing experience in complex automotive electronics, I have gained a variety of skills and knowledge that I use to enable success.
My experience working with and on teams across business divisions in multiple countries has broadened my perspective on how to achieve goals and coach teams toward success. My goal is to apply the right tools in the right way at the right time to enable that success.

By viewing manufacturing through a value stream lens, my expertise in leadership, continuous improvement, productivity management, zero defects culture, visual management, total productive maintenance, supplier management, and logistics provides a large “toolbox” of systems and approaches. Through experience and data analysis, I help manufacturers apply these tools in a way that maximizes the return on investment and ensures sustainability.
