Best Practices in Recall & Risk Management, presented by the Chicagoland Food & Beverage Network

Join the Chicagoland Food & Beverage Network (CFBN) for the first event in their 2019 Science & Technology Series: Best Practices in Recall & Risk Management.  The panel of industry leaders will examine the many facets of dealing with and moving forward in a recall and look at the challenges of risk management – a timely topic which is back in the public spotlight with recent recalls at several large food manufacturers and extensive media coverage!

It’s the scenario we all dread:  a product recall.  With FDA recall rates at notable highs it is important to ask, “Who do you need on your team and what do you need to manage a recall and crisis in today’s world?”

Join the CFBN for coffee and and refreshments as a cross-functional panel of industry insiders, with multiple perspectives – legal, insurance/financial, crisis communications, and food safety/food science perspective – discusses and provides insights into the modern evolution of product recall. 

A discussion on best practices for food & beverage recalls using real life “ripped from the headlines” scenarios.  With continued conversation on the “ins and outs” of surviving and maintaining a healthy, growing brand by proactively preparing for the worst.
