Lending a Hand:

Early in my career, my choice to join the manufacturing community was fueled by an idealistic world view to help the United States return to world dominance in manufacturing. Most of my career has been focused on providing engineered product solutions and serving in leadership roles across a variety of departments. My journey helps me understand the entrepreneur mindset, as well as the 2nd & 3rd generation business owners, all who wish to leave a legacy.

Now, decades later, realizing that same idealistic worldview never dimmed, my excitement remains to help small and mid-size manufacturers achieve their growth goals. I am driven by my passion for people, my commitment to continuous learning, and the opportunity to collaborate with others to solve tough business issues. My commitment to Illinois manufacturers is to listen to learn, understand without judgment, build trust, collaborate to seek solutions, all with the intention of earning the right to create long-term relationships and foster a competitive future.

My Background:

Fresh out of school I joined an Illinois manufacturer as a sales engineer. I have always been fascinated to see how “planes, trains & automobiles” are made. That same intellectual curiosity exists today. My background since college has been all manufacturing except for three years in a professional services firm. One word describes my experience: “diverse.” I’ve held leadership roles in business development, marketing, operations, engineering, human resources, as well as general management & president level roles. My background includes diverse end markets: robotics, industrial automation, automotive, aerospace, electronics, commercial construction, materials handling, and general industrial.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in  Economics from Benedictine University and a Master in Business Administration from North Park University.
