Lending a Hand:

All organizations have their unique challenges and cultures, but they all share the need for successful execution of basic fundamentals that will allow them to grow and prosper. In my role as Regional Manager, I have the opportunity to share my 30 years of experience and skills in a collaborative way to help businesses realize their best competitive futures. By listening, observing, offering ideas for possible solutions, and collaboratively creating plans for execution, the goal of business and organizational improvement can be achieved.

In my career, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in both large and small organizations, collaborating on projects involving all levels from a line worker to CEO. Consequently, getting cross-functional buy-in for large and complex projects is one of my key strengths. This has served me well for enterprise-wide projects, but the same principles are valid for any improvement project, large or small.

The real value I can bring is to not only identify the challenges, but to also help implement the right solutions while assuring that they have the buy-in and support of all stakeholders to assure organizational alignment. Results are immediate, but the long-term impact is where the greatest value lies. I consider it an extreme privilege to work with the talented team at IMEC and our partners to deliver collaborative solutions to Illinois businesses.

My Background:

As a Missouri native, I attended Missouri University of Science and Technology and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. My first job out of college was as a sales engineer for electrical power distribution and motor control. I worked my way up through sales management, marketing management and operations management, culminating in the position of Vice President at a Fortune 100 company. With more than 30 years in leadership roles in sales, marketing, engineering and operations, I have been fortunate to have worked in a wide range of industries, from electrical switchgear to electronics and factory automation. This breadth of experience has enabled me to identify and address a variety of challenges at all levels of an organization.

My career has been marked by driving profitable growth through measurable, sustainable initiatives and I pride myself on bringing the right solutions and strategies to solve the most pertinent and critical business challenges.
