Participants included Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno, House Republican Leader Jim Durkin, Zach Mottl and Curt Snyder of ATLAS Tool Works, Dan Aloia of CCI Manufacturing, Tom Richardson of Conveyor Accessories, Craig Zoberis of Fusion OEM, and Zach Kaplan of Inventables. Facilitating the visit and discussion were David Boulay, President and John Bradarich, Affiliate Relations Manager for IMEC.
“I am optimistic about manufacturing in our state. Yes, we have challenges and are feeling current economic headwinds. Yet, the talent and innovative spirit of the manufacturing leaders came out through today’s discussion and reminds me that we have a manufacturing sector capable of competing well on the global stage.”
”After meeting with our state leaders, I am bullish about the outlook of manufacturing in Illinois. They listen and understand our unique challenges and opportunities, and would represent us very well as we forge ahead and compete globally”.
